They are responsible for maintaining the superior standards of our course materials and ensuring the high-quality delivery of our training solutions worldwide. With their respective peer review boards, the advisors continuously evaluate the technical content of our programs and courses to ensure that we are delivering the latest technology to our students and clients. The advisors are responsible for ensuring that our instructors are not only leaders from a technical viewpoint, but are also competent instructors.

 

Stephen Brown – Petroleum Engineering Department Lead

Stephen is the lead of training curriculum for the REBIS ACADEMY’s petroleum engineering department. He brings in REBIS ACADEMY his 25+ years of engineering and management experience on offshore and onshore projects in several global regions. He holds a M.Sc. degree in petroleum engineering.

 

Gary White – Chemical Process Engineering Department Lead

Gary is the lead of training curriculum for the REBIS ACADEMY’s chemical process engineering department. He has over 25 years of experience in process industry. His experience includes design, operation and management for numerous complex process plants worldwide. He holds a M.Sc. degree in chemical engineering.

 

Alireza Niakani – Piping Engineering Department Lead

Alireza is the lead of training curriculum for the REBIS ACADEMY’s piping engineering department. He has over 25 years of experience in the oil and gas industry included both technical and management positions in design, construction and maintenance. He has extensive global experience in North and South America, Africa and the Middle East. He holds a B.Sc. degree in chemical engineering.

 

Ahmed Assad – Mechanical Engineering Department Lead

Ahmed is the lead of training curriculum for the REBIS ACADEMY’s mechanical engineering department. He has over 25 years of experience in design and operation of mechanical fixed and rotary equipment for a large number of companies in the Middle East, Asia, and Africa. He holds a M.Sc. degree in mechanical engineering and also is an active member of ASME.

 

Heather Williams – Instrumentation and control Engineering Department Lead

Heather is the lead of training curriculum for the REBIS ACADEMY’s instrumentation and control engineering department. She has over 20 years of experience in design, control and operation of field instruments and automation systems. She holds a M.Sc. degree in electrical engineering.

 

Robert Burford –Electrical Engineering Department Lead

Robert is the lead of training curriculum for the REBIS ACADEMY’s electrical engineering department. He has held various engineering and management positions in consulting and manufacturing companies in the North and South America and Europe during his 25 years experience, He holds a M.Sc. degree in electrical engineering.

 

Eric Li – Civil & Structural Engineering Department Lead

Eric is the lead of training curriculum for the REBIS ACADEMY’s civil & structural engineering department. He has over 25 years of extensive experience in heavy industrial projects, such as oil and gas, mining and metallurgy, aluminum smelter and process industrial plant in China & Canada. He holds a B.Sc. degree in structural engineering and a M.Sc. degree in construction project management.

 

Jeffrey Baron – Reliability & Maintenance Engineering Department Lead

Jeff is the lead of training curriculum for the REBIS ACADEMY’s reliability & maintenance engineering department. He has 20+ years of experience in the refinery environment and his career has focused on static and rotary equipment, reliability and maintenance engineering. He has extensive experience in North America and South Africa. He holds a M.Sc. degree in mechanical engineering.

 

Allison Thornhill – Safety Engineering Department Lead

Allison is the lead of training curriculum for the REBIS ACADEMY’s safety engineering department. He has over 20 years of experience in oil & gas industries. She has extensive knowledge on process hazard analysis, hazard & operability studies, what if analyses and process safety management. She holds a M.Sc. degree in chemical engineering.

 

Peter Lewis – Project Management Department Lead

Peter is the lead of training curriculum for the REBIS ACADEMY’s project management department. His experiences in the last 25 years has been in different roles such as project manager, project management instructor, portfolio management consultant, PMO manager and planning engineer in more than 100 projects in US and abroad. He holds a M.Sc. degree in mechanical engineering and PMP designation.
